British-Nigerian heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, has reacted to a report that American heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder is ready to battle with him next after his bout with Tyson Fury in Los Angeles ended in a draw. Anthony who took to his Twitter page to respond wrote, “What took this fool so long? Like we ain’t been interested?!!”
The 28-year-old had previously discussed having a potential fight with Deontay Wilder for a while now, but they both didn’t reach an agreement. The reigning champ also took time to commend Fury who shared a thrilling battle in Los Angeles on Saturday night, with many former professionals saying he won the bout he had with Wilder.
“Anyway well-done Fury,” Joshua said, “They wanted to get you because they assumed you was finished!!” Declaring his intention to take on both Fury and Wilder the IBF, WBO and WBA champion added “I’ll give you a fair one when your ready! Either one of you!”
