An unnamed 50-years-old man has accidentally shot himself while trying to kill a bothersome cockroach. The man told the Detroit police in Michigan that he tried to kill the insect on Tuesday morning by throwing a shoe at it, however, a revolver was hidden inside the shoe and it went off sending bullets in his direction. 
He threw his sneakers at the cockroach and the gun fell out of it, after which it fired at struck him in the foot. According to the authorities, he was taken to a local hospital and is now in a stable condition.
