Following the reports that the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, was arrested in Kenya, the Kenya’s Government has denied having anything to do with the process.
Officials of the Kenyan Government have said this in separate interviews, not stating, however, if it knew he was in the country or not, neither was it aware of the arrest and extradition.We Don't Know About Nnamdi Kanu's Arrest - Kenya

Kenya’s Director-General of Immigration Services, Alexander Muteshi, in an interview with Kenya’s Nation, dismissed the claims of the country’s complicity in the arrest. When asked whether the claims made by the Kanu’s brother was true as to his arrest in the country, Muteshi reportedly said he couldn’t know. “I can’t know that”, Mr Muteshi reportedly said, adding that it was not possible to tell whether Mr Kanu had entered Kenyan territory.
