When news of Veteran actor, Baba Suwe’s illness, many Nigerians have been heartbroken and wondered why his colleagues are not coming to his aid. But the veteran actor, Mr. Latin has come out to shut down rumors that the Nollywood body has abandoned Baba Suwe. According to him; the Theatre Arts and Motions Pictures Producers Association of Nigeria, TAMPAN, has been paying the actor’s medical bill for about 2 years. 
In his own words; “I have just instructed the Lagos State executive of the association to check on him (Baba Suwe) to ascertain his health progress. “I can tell you that we have not abandoned him, as well as any of our members, as being speculated in some quarters by mischief-makers. ”
