We Are Trying Really Hard To Provide Jobs For Our Youths – President Buhari

President Buhari has made it known that his administration is working hard to see to the end of unemployment amongst the youths in the country. Buhari made this known while receiving the Foreign Minister of Tunisia Mr. Boukekri Rmilli, at the State House in Abuja on Tuesday. “We are trying very hard to provide jobs, for our youths. We are investing heavily in agriculture. Following the uncertainty in the oil market and the huge unemployment situation in the country, we chose to put our fate in agriculture. I am glad that our young people are accepting agriculture instead of waiting for white-collar jobs. They are out there sweating it out in the sun, making a living. Agriculture is the way to go, even when we are realising this almost belatedly,” the President said.

Buhari also said he is aware of the growing state of agriculture, tourism and medical health, in Tunisia and sooner than later his administration will raise a team to identify how both countries can work together. Buhari also talked about the resuscitation of the Nigeria – Tunisia Binational Commission,  attended by quite a number of businessmen and prospective investors. Speaking on this, Mr. Rmilli, who leads the delegation of businessmen, told the president Tunisia, is eager to start trade relationships with Nigeria.  Photo Credit: Getty
