In an event that revealed lots of information about the future of Marvel, the latest installation of Thor was released during Marvel’s Comic-Con panel on Saturday. This trailer is way better than the first trailer, even though the last trailer is one not easily forgotten.
It’s a two-and-a-half-minute ball of action, awesomeness, humor, and insanity that may be the most purely fun Marvel movie trailer we’ve ever seen, all courtesy of director Taika Waititi.
Since the first trailer was awesome and full of insanity, the new clip had a lot to live up to. This new trailer picks up from where the last preview left off, with Thor who is left without his Mjölnir hammer in a fist fight against an armored Incredible Hulk.
After a gladiator battle with the Hulk and explaining what’s happened with the God of Thunder since Avengers “Age of Ultron”, the two superheroes team up with Thor’s sometimes-nemesis brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) to reclaim Asgard from the “Goddess of Death” Hela which was played by Cate Blanchett.
The new trailer for “Thor: Ragnarok” will hit cinemas on November 3rd.
