Watch Nigeria Labour Congress Protest In Lagos Turn Violent

In a bid to address the issue of Casualization of staff by Nigerian companies, members of the Nigerian Labour Congress staged a peaceful protest at the entrance of some Companies today. The Union members resorted to picketing at the headquarters of three culpable companies in Lagos.Their protest, however, turned into a melee as the management of the firms resorted to fist fights injuring some of the protesters including the Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of NLC.
The protesters are not dissuaded by the attack as they promised to continue picketing tomorrow at the entrance of some reputable firms like MTN and the Environmental protection Board in Abuja.
