A young Nigerian basketball player identified as Waheed Jimoh has lost his life while playing basketball. According to reports, Waheed died on Wednesday morning, while playing on the NIS basketball court.
The board of the Nigeria Basketball Federation, which was represented by North West Zonal Representative, Surajo Yusuf, earlier today paid a condolence visit to the family of the young player. Surajo represented the president, Engineer Musa Kida and expressed consternation over the sad incident which has thrown Jimoh’s family into mourning.
