Abdullahi Adamu, national chairperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has decried the low turnout of voters for the governorship and house of assembly elections.
The governorship and house of assembly elections are ongoing across the country.
Speaking with journalists after casting his vote at polling unit 010, Agwan Rimi ward in Keffi, Nasarawa state, the APC national chair said he was dismayed by the low turnout of voters at the polling unit.
Adamu said he had also seen news reports about turnout in other polling units in the area.
He, however, expressed the hope that before the process is over, more voters would come out.
“I just got in here and I do not know how the attendance was before now but it would appear many of the electorates in this particular polling unit did not come out,” NAN quoted him as saying.
“I expected the turnout to be more than this but it is not over until it is over.
