Swedish luxury vehicle manufacturer, Volvo, has introduced its new product Vera, a self-driving and cabless truck with no passenger compartment. With no human driver, the truck is designed to carry containers weighing up to 32 tons across large manufacturing ports.
“The transport control center continuously monitors the progress of the transport and keeps an accurate watch of each vehicle’s position, the batteries’ charge, load content, service requirements, and a number of other parameters,” Volvo said.
