‘Violated And Angry’ – Embarrassed Iggy Azalea Breaks Silence On Leaked Nude Photos

Singer Iggy Azalea has been ‘violated’ by the release of topless pictures she believes to be outtakes from a magazine photoshoot.

The singer released a statement on Monday night stating her intention to pursue criminal action amid her ‘anger and embarrassment’ over the photo leak.

Australian musician Iggy, 28, has subsequently deleted all of her socials amid plans to ‘retreat’ until the ‘vicious and outright wicked’ comments have stopped. ‘Today I’m a ball of negative emotions,’ she said, reacting to the leak. ‘I feel blindsided, embarrassed, violated, angry, sad, and a million other things. ‘Not solely because I did not consent to this – but also because of the vile way people have reacted.’

Iggy said she had faced personal comments about her body that had ‘honestly disturbed’ her. She said the reaction had overwhelmed her so much that she felt like throwing up as she urged her followers to be ‘kinder’ to one another. The musician also said that she intends to find out where the leak originated and take legal action.

Iggy appeared on the cover of GQ Australia in 2016 and believes the photos originated from this topless shoot. After publishing her statement on Monday night, Iggy deactivated her Twitter and Instagram channels saying the negativity was too much for her to handle.

Iggy has always been proud to control what she puts out on social media, which often includes nude content. But in this latest case, Iggy made it expressly clear that she did not consent to topless pictures being taken, let alone being published online, and evidently had no knowledge they were still in someone’s possession.
