Viola Davis Defying Age And Time In Leather Pants Has She Attends Premiere Of Her New Movie

Viola Davis, 53, is among a small group of performers to have won the Triple Crown of Acting: an Academy Award, Emmy Awards and Tony Award. And on Friday, the actress attended the world premiere of her new movie Troop Zero at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, alongside some of her co-stars. She looked age-defying in an all-black ensemble that included a pair of skin-tight leather pants. The outfit looked to be equal parts cool and stylish as she strutted with confidence and ease on the red carpet. The leather pants popped with its edgy style, but she also added a simple touch with a form-fitting black sweater. She rounded out the outfit with a black hooded jacket, a pair of black boots and styled her raven tresses in a bob-cut with natural curls. After posing solo for photographers, Davis was then happy to take a number of snaps alongside her husband Julius Tennon. The love fest under the lights also extended to her co-stars Jim Gaffigan and Mckenna Grace as well as directors Bert & Bertie. All five of them were all smiles as they joked with each other locked arm-in-arm.  Davis plays an unlikely chaperone to a group of misfit scouts in the family comedy that is set in rural Georgia in the 1970s. Grace’s character, Christmas, plays a spunky nine-year-old girl who gets fixated on the idea of sending messages to whatever may exist in outer space. Davis’s film breakthrough came in 2008, with a supporting role in the drama Doubt, which earned her an Oscar nomination. She went on to win a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play in 2010 for her role as Rose Maxson in the revival of Fences. She took home an Emmy for her role in the TV series drama How To Get Away With Murder in 2015, and won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in the film adaption of Fences in 2016. The South Carolina native currently stars as Annalise Keating in hit TV series How To Get Away With Murder. She has been married to Julius Tennon since 2003, and together they adopted daughter Genesis in 2011.
