Vinicius has arrived in Real Madrid to start his first season in Spain under new boss, Julen Lopetegui.
The Brazilian teenage soccer star had wished to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo in Madrid, but that won’t be possible anymore as the Portuguese star is now a Juventus player. Vinicius will be officially presented at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on Thursday. Although, two of his countrymen Casemiro and Marcelo will be missing as they are both on vacation after competing with Brazil at the World Cup.
Vinicius’ family and close friends have traveled with him to Madrid to help him settle in. He will stay in the residence at Real’s training ground while he looks for a permanent house. Vinicius scored 10 goals in 48 games for Flamengo last season, and he joined Real Madrid for a 45 million euro fee. “I’m preparing for new challenges and this is the biggest of my life, I want to adapt quickly to be happy in Madrid,” said the 18-year-old footballer.
