American actor and star of wedding crashers Vince Vaughn has been arrested after police allegedly caught him driving under the influence this morning, according to reports in the US.
The Hollywood funny man, 48, was stopped by police in Manhattan Beach, California, at a routine checkpoint at 4am local time on Sunday, according to media reports. Vaughn, who had a passenger in his car, is reportedly still in custody after being detained by cops, claims a source. It is unclear when the A-list star will be released. The actor forged a successful career as a comedic actor after the 1996 cult hit Swingers in which he starred alongside real-life pal Jon Favreau, who wrote the film’s screenplay.
