Footage has emerged of the England cricket vice captain Ben Stokes fighting on the street outside a nightclub, whilst on a night out with friends. Stokes and two clubbers had a fist fight and one of the clubbers who was clutching a bottle began their stand-off on a Bristol street at 2.30am.
Stokes appears to throw his first punch which hits the man holding a bottle and he was seen throwing around 15 punches and the pair fall over on to the pavement as another man tries to drag Stokes away. The cricketer stands over man, points and shouts something before stepping over him.
The 26-year-old was said to be “devastated and fragile” and apologised to the England and Wales Cricket Board after footage obtained by The Sun showed him brawling in the street.
