Big Brother stars, Venita Akpofure and Yemi Cregx stole the show at the opening night of the 9th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award (AMVCA) which began with a cultural event. 
The Cultural Day event was held at the Federal Palace Hotel and Casino, Lagos on Thursday, May 18, to kick off the series of activities preceding the award show scheduled to hold on Saturday, May 20th in Lagos.

Venita made a bold statement on the red carpet of the cultural event with her well-tailored pink corset George dress. She adorned her head with a large gele (headwrap) and also wore lovely bead jewelry on her ears, neck, and wrist, symbolizing her celebration of the tradition and beauty of the Urhobo culture.

Yemi Cregx on the other hand, looked regal in his crimson-red agbada which he topped with a matching fur on his shoulders. He also wore beaded accessories to compliment his impeccable look.
The duo eventually won the best-dressed category on the opening night of the award show.
