The United States Attorney’s Office at the Central District of California says that Ramon Abbas, aka, Hushpuppi, will be sentenced on February 14, 2022. The court’s Director of Media Relations, Thom Mrozek, said Hushpuppi has been scheduled for sentencing on Valentine’s Day, according to BBC Pidgin.
The court’s director of media relations explained that the internet fraudster will be serving his sentence in the American prison but did not specify how long the sentence will be but Hushpuppi is subject to removal from the United States once he completes his prison sentence.

The Dubai Police in the United Arab Emirates had in June 2020 arrested Hushpuppi and his gang. They were later extradited to the US for prosecution by the FBI and the news of his arrest alongside his court proceedings have been one of the biggest fraud stories in the country.
