Investigative journalist and filmmaker Kiki Mordi has noted that she is updating her security protocols as she’s been getting threats since Segalink accused her of threatening him.
The activist had accused her of threatening D’banj’s accuser Seyitan and himself and he has evidences to show. (see here).
To this, Kiki Mordi dared him to release the evidences, noting that she is wondering why he has not since he accused him (read here). She then added that she knows she is his and many others’ easy target and she is used to it. Read also: Seyitan: Police Vinidcates D’banj After Investigations
Reacting again, however, to the reactions that have followed Segalink’s accusation, Kiki Mordi noted that is accusation is false and baseless. She then noted she didn’t ask anyone for money neither did she threaten anyone. “This. I’ve had to drop everything I was up to today to update my security protocol.“
“I’m on a job and I’m dealing with threats to my life and for what? What did I do? Who did I do it to? When did I do “it” and why are they not accusing me directly with corroborating receipts? “Baseless lies everywhere but what’s funny is that people forget I’m an investigative journalist and I won’t post what I don’t have facts backing.
