The Senate held an urgent executive meeting shortly after the IGP failed to honour the third invitation today.

Nigerian Senate has declared the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris an enemy to democracy after he failed to honour three different invitation to the the House of Assembly. The Senate held an urgent executive meeting shortly after the IGP failed to honour the third invitation today.
The attention of IGP was required in order to unravel the Dino Melaye’s arrest and the recent incessant kilings in the country. Idris was said to be incompetent of holding any public office in and outside of the country by some of the Senator. The outcome of the meeting was revealed on twitter.
