Wonder woman is one movie that has been on everyone’s mouth lately, but here one thing you don’t know about the movie. The Little Mermaid ‘Ariel’ from the Disney animation inspired the character Diana Prince, surprised right!
Allan Heinberg the screenwriter of Wonder Woman made this known in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. He said “This is a woman who has been raised in a very protective, sheltered life, she’s curious about what life is like outside and she wants to have her own experience,” he said. “She wants to be where the people are.” I repeat: She wants to be where the people are. I mean, yeah. It makes a lot of sense. Both Diana and Ariel are pure souls, who are bewildered by the world at large. Allan added “The story as I see it is The Little Mermaid, specifically Disney’s incarnation.
