Confusion As Armed Robbers Hijack DSS’ Sunday Igboho Case File – Lawyer
According to the lawyer in charge in the Department of State Service, I. Awo, the Sunday Igboho case file linked to the Fundamental Human Rights Enforcement application filed by his aides has been hijack and cart away by armed robbers.

This was the submission of Awo to the Federal High Court, on Wednesday, September 8, during a resumed hearing, Punch reports. He told Justice Obiora Egwuatu that his colleague who was to bring the case file to court has been attacked by a gang of robbers who own the bus he boarded.
The counsel to the DSS added that his belongings including the case file were hijacked by the criminals and went ahead to ask for an adjournment of the hearing.

Meanwhile, after the leaked audio of Igboho lambasting his Benin Republic based lawyers for not doing so much on his case, one of the counsels, Salami Ibrahim, has reacted. Salami faulted Sunday Igboho over leaked audio where the activist faulted his legal team.

Reports gathered that Salami explained that the leaked audio is dangerous and not good enough for the justice being pursued on Igboho’s behalf.
He said Igboho was angry with him and other members of the legal team because he felt he had no reason to remain in police detention. Salami, a professor of law, explained that Igboho found it strange to remain in police custody for not committing any crime, saying that the activist wants things to be done faster. He, however, said Igboho didn’t intend to make his complaint public.
Igboho lawyer noted; “Igboho is someone that gets angry easily and if I have a challenge with a client, it is not something to be discussed in the media.”
