The South’s Decision On 2023 Presidency Will Shake Nigeria – Wike Warns

The Governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike, has hinted that there would be a nationwide earthquake the day the southern part reveals its decision on the 2023 presidency. Nyesom Wike

The governor’s Special Assistant on Media, Kelvin Ebiri, revealed this in a statement in Port Harcourt on Saturday, February 5, 2022.

According to the statement, Wike asserted his thought at a grand reception organised in his honour by the people of Kalabari ethnic nationality in Asari Toru Local Government Area.

Wike maintained that Southerners believe in the unity of Nigeria and insisted that unity must not be truncated.

The governor bagged the traditional title of Se- Ibidokubo of Kalabari land (He who does good things for Kalabari people) which was conferred on him by the Amayanabo of Abonnema, King Gboko Desreal Bob-manuel.

Nyesom WikeHe said, “The day the South will speak, Nigeria will shake. We believe in the unity of this country, but nobody can threaten us; nobody should threaten us. We believe in the unity of Nigeria and the unity of Nigeria must continue.”

Recently, Wike came out to state that his party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), would not hand its presidential ticket to any candidate whose only interest is to serve the wealthy few in Nigeria.
