Singer Simi Calls Out Her Mum As She Reacts To A Video Of A Nigerian Mum Cautioning Her Daughter Against Wearing Revealing Dress

Singer Simi has taken to social media to call out her mum recounting an incident that happened several years ago between them as she reacted to a viral clip of a mother warning her daughter against wearing revealing clothes to an event.

In the clip, the mother could be heard telling her daughter to dress properly as it was a family event and she should be properly covered up to avoid insults from family members. The Duduke singer reacting to this shared that many Nigerian mothers warned their kids against revealing dresses so they could attract good husbands but these men want their wives showing off skin.

The mother of one recounted how she wore a strapless dress to her mother’s 60th birthday and her mother was really angry noting that she wouldn’t be surprised if her mother never forgave her for that dress and her mother is known to correct other people’s children and she couldn’t believe her daughter was wearing such cloth.
