Shocking! This Catholic Priest Was Murdered While Hearing Confessions In A Church

A 33-year old Catholic priest, Father Juan Miguel Garcia was murdered on Friday 20th of April while performing the sacrament of penance (popularly known as confessions) in the west-central Mexican state of Jalisco.
Father Juan Miguel Garcia was the second priest killed within four days in the country.
A statement from the Mexican Bishops’ Conference claimed that he was performing the sacrament of penance when he was attacked by armed assailants at a parish in Tlajomulco de Zuniga, on the outskirts of Guadalajara. The attack took place immediately after the celebration of Holy Mass.
A total of 22 priests have been killed in Mexico since 2012, when the six-year administration of President Enrique Pena Nieto began.
