Samuel Kalu: Super Eagles Striker Collapses On The Pitch During Ligue 1 Match Against Marseille

The 2021/22 season has officially started and there have been several footballing actions around Europe.

However, In the French Ligue 1 game, Marseille hosted Bordeaux. Super Eagles star and Bordeaux winger, Samuel Kalu, collapsed on the field of play just five minutes into the match on Sunday evening.

But after receiving treatment from medical staff, the Nigerian was incredibly allowed to play on, eventually sense seemed to prevail, with the star being precautionarily substituted eight minutes later.

Kalu, 23, had been preparing to form a defensive wall at a free-kick when he collapsed to the turf in the 25 degree Marseille heat.
