Sad! Legendary Wrestler Bruno Sammartino Is Dead!
WWE Hall of Fame wrestler Bruno Sammartino is dead. The legendary wrestler, who reigned longest as champion in WWE history (4,040 days) died at the age of 82.
He passed away at his Pittsburgh’s home. The legend, who began wrestling as far back as the 1950’s, fought the likes of Freddie Blassie, Buddy Rogers and George “The Animal” Steele. Sammartino’s matches were called by Dick Lane … who popularized the phrase “Whoa Nelly.” Jis
His cause of death is yet to be made known although he battled with some health issues for a long time before finally passing a few hours ago. He is survived by his wife of 60-years Carol and their 3 kids. may his soul rest in peace.
