Return James Ibori’s Loot To Delta State – Reps To FG

The federal government just yesterday was set to receive some part of the James Ibori loot from the UK government but the National Representatives have taken during plenary today asked Federal Government to return the loot to Delta State and not to be used by the FG. 
According to lawmakers who spoke on the matter at the National assembly today, it was stated that the loot was stolen from Delta State and as such should be rightly returned to the state for the infrastructural development of the State.

The lawmakers also disclosed that the total sum return as part of the first tranche was a £6.2 million and not the £4.2 million that was widely reported yesterday.

The resolution was reached after a motion of urgent public importance which was sponsored by all the lawmakers from Delta state.
