Residents Scoop Diesel From Fallen Tanker In Cross River State

Many residents including children, were spotted scooping diesel from a fallen tanker in Awi community in Akamkpa Local Government Area of Cross River State.

 

It was gathered that the tanker overturned and split its content on Wednesday morning, October 26, 2022. In a video that has gone viral, residents in the area were seen scooping diesel into their kegs, bowls and buckets by the road side.

Many have reacted saying that it is dangerous for people top scooping diesel like this. In the viral video, cars were seen driving past and many lamented that people do not learn.
