Controversial political activist Reno Omokri has dropped his two cents on what he thinks about going to church on Sunday.
Taking to social media, Reno Omokri called out a troll who replied to his post. Meanwhile earlie Reno stated that the noble never said people have to church on Sunday.

Taking to the gram he wrote Dear Mikail Samaila Bito, Actually, that is not what Scripture says. The verse you are misquoting is Matthew 18:19. That verse says: “If two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”

That verse is referring to corporate prayers of agreement. It is not referring to doctrine. About doctrine, Scripture says in 2 Timothy 3:16: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” You agree on prayer, but you are guided by Scripture on Doctrine. For example, you can’t use a prayer of agreement (Matthew 18:19) to violate a doctrine set by God. For instance, God has said adultery is a sin. You can’t agree with someone that adultery is no longer a sin and keep committing adultery. But you can agree with your prayer partner that a sickness or disease will be cured. Please do try to read Scripture for yourself. Stop relying on your pastor. Be like the Berean Jews of Acts 17:11 of whom Scripture says: “The Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.” You are not the one that will tell God the doctrine you want to establish. It is God that will tell you the doctrine you should follow. If you are the one agreeing on doctrine, then who is the God and who is the worshipper? Thank you and may God bless you.
