The Zimbabwean Government Has Legalised The Use Of Cannabis
The Federal Government of Zimbabwe has legalised production and use of cannabis for medicinal or scientific use.
A statutory law introduced by the new government permit production of cannabis for medicinal and scientific use. The law states that prospective producers can apply to the health ministry for a licence to grow cannabis but under strict conditions.
“An application shall be accompanied by the appropriate fee and three copies of a plan of the site proposed to be licensed,” read part of the regulations.”
Zimbabwe will be the first African country to legalize the use of cannabis.
