President Putin had on Thursday, February 24, declared full war on Ukraine as he announces military operation in eastern Ukraine’s Donbas region.
World leaders have however, condemned this deliberate unleash of terror by Russia. Joe Biden and Borris Johnson were among world leaders who have unequivocally condemned Russia.
Also, NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg, has called on Russia to cease its military action in Ukraine immediately. He made the call in a press briefing at Brussels, Belgium, on Thursday.
“We call on Russia to immediately cease its military action, withdraw its forces from Ukraine and choose diplomacy,” he said.

He accused Russia of having criminal intentions for invading Ukraine, stating that the invasion was deliberate, cold-blooded and long-planned. He reiterated that “NATO fully supports Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and…right to self-defence.”
Describing the attack as “unjustified” and “unprovoked,” Stoltenberg warned Russia against using force to rewrite history.
