Tunde Bakare Coronavirus: Open Your Church Halls For Government To Use As Isolation Centres – Tunde Bakare 1 Love

Former Vice-Presidential Candidate of the CPC and the Senior Pastor of Citadel Global Community Church (CGCC)Pastor Tunde Bakare – formerly known as The Latter Rain Assembly, has called out other big pastors and churches like his to open their church halls to the government to use as Isolation centres as their own quota in the battle against the Coronavirus pandemic.

This is coming days after Bishop David Oyedepo and Pastor Chris Oyakhilome spoke against the government opening up markets but continues the ban placed on religious gatherings, where Bishop Oyedepo was quoted saying “How can you open the market and hospitals where people are dying and leave the church closed”.

Pastor Tunde Bakare made this call on other pastors during his online service yesterday, May 10th 2020, Pastor Tunde Bakare noted that he has already done the same, that he won’t be asking others to do what he hasn’t already done that, he’s church has given the Lagos State government 2 of its halls to be used as an Isolation centre and a private residence in Abeokuta to Ogun state government also to be used as an isolation centre.

”I recommend that our church halls be made available to government as Isolation centers and those of us who could afford it should be there to support the government.” he said
