Omicron: Germany To Exclude Unvaccinated People From Shops As Lockdown Returns
Germany’s leaders have backed a vaccine mandate for all residents and tough restrictions for those who remain unvaccinated.
Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Thursday that people who aren’t vaccinated will be excluded from non-essential stores, cultural and recreational venues as part of an effort to curb coronavirus infections.

It comes as new daily coronavirus infections again topped 70,000 cases in the latest 24-hour period.
