Naira Redesign: Bags Of Damaged Naira Notes Discovered

Bags of damaged Naira notes have been discovered weeks after CBN announced and unveiled newly re-designed N200, N500 and N1000 notes.

In a video that is making the rounds on social media, Naira notes that have apparently been damaged due to moisture could be seen in the bags. Since the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) unveiled the new notes, the EFCC has stated that accepting or making cash payment in excess of N5 million is money laundering.

Following the new design, people have been sighting bundles of old Naira notes and this viral video definitely takes the crown. Reacting to the video, Nigerians have stated that who ever abandoned bags of money must have been a greedy fellow.

Others stated that this must be doing of a someone who has hoarded cash in millions and is looking for a way to get rid of it now. Watch the video below;
