Kogi Health Commissioner Breaks Down In Tears Over Looted Medical Store
Kogi State Commissioner for Health Saka Audu has lost his cool and burst into tears uncontrollably as he visited and inspected a medical store looted in the State.
In a video footage released by Channels Television, Saka and his entourage were een inspecting an empty facility, with items littered on the floor, suggesting that some form of vandalisation has gone down in the facility.
Speaking to the Press, Saka Audu noted that the looting is an unfortunate incident that has set the state back in the progress it has been making. According to him, equipments worth millions of naira were carted away, while those which couldn’t be taken away were vandalised beyond repair and some others were moved from the store and broken into pieces in nearby places. Interrupting his speech by series of tears, breakdown and sniffing, Saka Audu added that the State will not recover from the incidence as it does not have the capacity to provide what has been carted away or vandalised in a short term. He noted further that the situation is indeed worrisome and should be a course of concern for residents and citizens of Kogi State.
