Losing Grammy To Angelique Kidjo Doesn’t Diminish Me – Made Kuti
Nigerian afrobeat singer, songwriter and instrumentalist Omorinmade Kuti .nown professionally as Made Kuti, has come out to drop his two cents on the Grammy he lost to Angelique Kidjo.
Made Kuti, an afrobeat singer and grandson of music icon, Fela, has said he does not consider losing his Grammy Award nomination to veteran singer, Angelique Kidjo. His father is Femi, Fela’s first son. In an interview with Sunday Scoop, he said, “I don’t see it as a loss. For award ceremonies, a person has to emerge the winner, and it is not an easy task for the judges too.
