Jet Li’s New Photo Sparks Global Panic-Mode Among Fans

A viral photo of the iconic martial artist, Jet Li, sparked a global panic-mode among his fans all over the world.
A photo of the 55-year-old movie maestro, which allegedly taken at a temple in Tibet went viral over the weekend, prompting his planet-wide fans to launch a “Pray for Jet Li” campaign.

Jet Li, who won the heart of billions of people around the world with his his youthful looks and acrobatic moves, has battled hyperthyroidism in recent years. Hyperthyroidism is a condition that can cause fatigue and weight loss.
However, Li’s manager, Steven Chasman, debunked the viral stories that Jet Li’s condition is critical. He claimed that it was just a bad photo of someone who is 55 years old.

Speaking in an interview with Washington Post, Mr. Chasman said: “He has hyperthyroidism that he’s been dealing with for almost 10 years. It’s nothing life-threatening and he’s dealing with it.”
Jet Li was diagnosed with an overactive thyroid in 2010.
