The Insider: Nominees Of The BET Awards Hosted To A Send-Off Party In Lagos

Cova Lounge, V.I., Lagos, hosted the BET Awards 2017 send-off party held recently and many notable faces from the entertainment industry were in attendance to show support and honour the nominees. The nominees which in no time will be travelling to Los Angeles for the BET awards scheduled to hold on Tuesday 27th of June, were celebrated at the send-off party which is part of the line-up of events leading up to the award show.With some of our Africa’s finest musicians like Wizkid, Davido, Tekno, Mr Eazi, AKA, Nasty C, Babes Wodumo and Stonebwoy all nominated for the Best International Act: Africa category. Also representing Africa at the event are Yvonne Chaka Chaka and Ilwad Elman. This year’s BET Awards will be hosted by stand-up comedian Leslie Jones and will air across Africa.Photo Credit: Getty
