INEC Releases Schedule For The Recall Of Senator Dino Melaye

Controversial Senator, Dino Melaye who is representing Kogi West has been recalled by The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The electoral body made the disclosure Monday night via its Twitter account tweeting: “ BREAKING: TIMETABLE AND SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES FOR THE RECALL OF THE SENATOR REPRESENTING KOGI WEST SENATORIAL DISTRICT, KOGI STATE ”. It had notified the Senator of his recall last week while INEC’s National Commissioner and member Information and Voter Education Committee, Mohammed Haruna, made the disclosure in Abuja.Haruna had said INEC would issue a notice to Melaye on July 3, on when it would begin the verification of the signatures of those who signed the petition.
