I Got Into Trouble For Supporting #EndSARS – Davido

Award winning singer, Davido has revealed that he got into trouble for supporting the #endsars movement that rocked the nation last year.

In a recent interview with International comedian and TV host, Trevor Noah, Davido revealed that his song FEM which became an anthem during the EndSars period got him into a lot of trouble.

OBO stated that although he didn’t release the song with the EndSars in mind he was happy to see that the song became a point of reference for many in Nigeria. He expressed his joy at being able to be part of a movement and his song as an instrument in that movement.

The Fem singer further explained that he had to leave the country because of the trouble his support for the EndSar movement caused. He fled the country in order to be safe, and came back after it all settled down a bit. Watch the video below;
