“I Don’t Regret Leaving Nigeria” – Rapper Eldee The Don
Eldee the Don has said that he has no regrets relocating from Nigeria.
The rapper said what he has achieved since he moved abroad wouldn’t have been possible if he had remained in Nigeria, unless he stole the money.
He added that everyone has different goals and he chose “being rich over looking rich”.
He made this known in an interaction with a fan who quizzed him about the decision to leave.
The fan with the handle @shawn_boy12 wrote;
Nothing dey Yankee. Na depression. It is a trillion times more easier to make it in Nigerian than America. America is overrated.
In his reply to the fan, he wrote;
It is all about perspective. Everybody’s journey is different. The real question is what your definition of “make it” is.
I don’t for a second regret my JAPA. My life today is exactly as i envisioned it in 2012 when I decided I was finally done with my Naija Journey.
We all have different goals and priorities in Life. I chose being rich over looking rich. The only way I could have accomplished what In have today in Naija is if I stole the money…. and I no sabi thief.
