The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party and former Kano State governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwanso , has dismissed threats by the immediate past governor of the state, Abdullahi Ganduje, to slap him.

Ganduje had shortly after he visited President Bola Tinubu at the Aso Rock Villa on Friday evening told State House correspondents that he would have slapped Kwankwaso if they met at Aso Rock, Abuja. Kwankwaso had earlier visited the President.

Ganduje’s statement came after the recent demolition of some buildings in the state by the Governor Abba Yusuf-led administration, a move he accused his predecessor, Kwankwaso, of masterminding.

In his response to the threat, Kwankwaso said Ganduje would never dare such, adding that the former governor is his “boy politically”.
