Ghana Police Investigate ‘Breach Of COVID-19 Protocols’ At Christ Embassy’s Pneumatica Night
Ghana Police is investigating an alleged gathering by the Christ Embassy Church at Trade Fair Centre Accra on Friday, April 30, 2021, for an event tagged “Pneumatica Night”. The gathering according to reports disregarded COVID-19 protocols putting the entire country at risk of spreading COVID-19.
In a statement released by the Ghana Police Service, Christ Embassy church was accused of not adhering to the COVID-19 protocols and breaching the threshold of the number of people who could gather for a church event at a place. It said the Fantasy dome where the event took place has been closed down and investigation has begun to find all authorities involved in the event and if they are found guilty they will face the law.
