It is saddening to see youths die and for someone like Eloy Perez, the former Mexican-American fighter, dying at a promising age of 32, fans cannot seem to get over it.
The news broke on social media and a lot of fans have sent in their shock and condolences, among other feelings. Eloy Perez had ultimately fought Adrien Broner on HBO in 2012, a bout that was stopped in the fourth round.

RIP Eloy Perez… Can’t believe I’m even tweeting this. Such a great guy but got headed down the wrong path after he was suspended from professional boxing. At 16 he was beating the shit out of men twice his age. Started out his career 11-0? Something like that fuggin crazy pic.twitter.com/gvKHxrZZaL
