Diego Maradona Resigns As The Coach Of U.A.E Big-Money Club
Football icon, Diego Maradona has resigned as the head coach of Arabian second division club, Al Fujairah on Friday after the club failed to advance to the national league.
Maradona’s lawyer, Matias Morla announced the Argentine legend’s decision after a 1-1 draw against Khorfakkan.
In a tweet via his official Twitter handle, Moria said: “After today’s match, and having failed to achieve the objective of promotion, Diego Maradona will no longer be the coach of the team.”
Moria also disclosed that the decision “had been a mutual agreement” with the club and that Maradona wished Al Fujairah “the best”.
