Delta Airline Suspends New York To Lagos Flights
Delta Airlines has announced the suspension of its flights between New York-JFK and Lagos effective October 4, 2022.

The airline made the announcement in a statement released today August 30. According to the Delta, the route suspension was to fit into “the current demand environment.” The statement, however, stressed that the airline was still operating its Lagos and Atlanta routes.

The statements read;
“Delta is suspending its non-stop service between New York-JFK and Lagos to fit the current demand environment. The airline continues to operate service between Lagos and Atlanta and offers onward connections to New York and other cities across the United States. Customers impacted by our suspended New York-JFK to Lagos service will be re-accommodated on Delta operated flights, or services operated by our joint venture partners. Delta remains committed to the Nigeria market.”
Recently former federal lawmaker, Shehu Sani is not happy with Emirates . According to Sani, the Emirate fares are too expensive.

He slammed the travelling agency after it announced it will be suspending air flights to Nigeria. Sani said the Emirates flight fares are too expensive, adding that the airline company can go if it wishes to.
