Declare Bandits As Federal Civil Servants Since You Don’t Want To Call Them Terrorists – Shehu Sani To Buhari Govt
Shehu Sani, a former senator from Kaduna Central, has requested that the government declare bandits to be federal public servants because it is becoming difficult for them to label them terrorists.
Bandits and kidnappers have been killing and kidnapping people in the North West in return for ransoms.

In response to the killings of Muslim worshipers in mosques in Niger and Katsina State, and also Christians in churches in Kaduna, the former lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central District in the 8th Assembly questioned why the Buhari administration has yet to declare bandit groups in the north as terrorists.
He wrote:
“They [bandits] killed Muslim worshipers in their mosques in Niger and Katsina State; they killed Christians in their Churches in Kaduna State; if the Government doesn’t want to declare them terrorists, it should declare them federal civil servants.”
