Cute Abiola Is Not Missing – Nigerian Navy Releases Statement

Nigerian Navy has finally released a statement debunking rumours that popular Instagram skit maker Cute Abiola is missing. News broke yesterday on social media that the comedian was missing after his friends and colleagues took to social media to cry out that they had not heard from him since the 15th of November,2021 when he left home for the naval headquarters.

Mr. Macaroni shared the news on Twitter and also attached a Whatsapp message he received. From the message, it was alleged that the last time Cute Abiola’s wife and associates heard from him was on November 15. It was also alleged that he was locked up in a Nigerian navy cell and nobody knows the offense he committed. Mr. Macaroni urged the Nigerian navy to make a clarification on Abiola’s whereabout, to put everyone’s mind at rest.

The Nigerian Navy has now issued a statement on the incident clarifying that Abiola is not missing as circulated on social media. They noted that the comedian is currently under investigation for breaching the Armed forces social media rule policy in the use of social media platforms.
