Crescent Moon Sighted In Saudi Arabia, Signals The Beginning Of Ramadan

The Crescent moon for Ramadan for  the year 1443/2022 has been sighted in multiple locations in Saudi Arabia.

In Lieu of this it means the 1st day of Ramadan 1443, will be on Saturday, 2nd April 2022.

However, for the case of Nigeria the holy month of fasting is yet to be declared to start, the Nigerian muslimah Juma’a waits for the announcement of the sighting of the moon from the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar.

The first night of Taraweeh prayers shall commence in the Kingdom of Saudir tonight.
