New COVID-19: Senate Adjourns Plenary Till April 7
The senate has announced that it will be adjoining it plenary session till the 7th of April following the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus.

The lawmakers took the decision after a closed-door session that lasted one hour. President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, urged the Federal Government to assist the states with funds to combat the menace.

He also stressed the need to set up a special fund to assist persons affected by COVID-19. The senators also observed a minute silence for the late Senator Rose Oko.
